About David Hughes Rural

David Hughes Rural Business Solutions Limited is headed up by David Hughes who is very passionate about the agricultural industry. He has spent most of his working life in agricultural banking, helping farmers in a variety of ways.

He grew up on a small family farm in Surrey and was actively involved in the Young Farmers movement and was successful in gaining an exchange to Australia in 1982.

After completing a degree in Economics from the University of Bristol he started his Banking career in the late 1970’s. 33 years later in late 2012 he retired from Banking to establish David Hughes Rural Business Solutions Limited.

David Hughes Business Solutions Limited (FRN:609058) is an Appointed Representative of Rural Finance Limited. Rural Finance Limited are authorised and regulated by the Financial Conduct Authority (FRN:630701).

Whilst the majority of its work involves helping rural businesses establish funding for various projects, it also provides a unique training and mentoring service. He has always had an ambition to continue to give something back to the industry which has given him such an enjoyable career.
